Talking, Understanding, Growing, Supporting
My suicide attempt was a year after I got out of the military. Now, if you want to fail at a suicide attempt, write your suicide note on a piece of paper, stick it in your pants pocket, and then put yourself in a burning building. Laugh cause it is hilarious. (I occasionally use this as an excellent example of failure in my comedy routine.) But you could be gone when you get to a point like I was at, and no one picks up on it, not a single person.
If someone had said, ‘Hey, let’s just take 5 minutes to talk,’ the outcome would have been so different. We are not so busy in this life that we can’t take that time.
